Mai Hordern

Fluidity Physiotherapy's principle Physiotherapist, Mai is a gentle caring Physio who aims to provide high quality, effective treatment programs to people who need it. 

Mai schedules at least 45 minutes for each appointment to allow time to identify your needs and goals and develop a plan to achieve the best results. 

Mai has a is an ALA Accredited Lymnphoedema Practitioner and completed her lymphoedema training at Macquarie University in NSW. 

 

Mai has a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and has extensive experience in shoulder rehabilitation.  She has also  completed Pilates for Physiotherapists course with Dance Medicine Australia  and aims to combine these skills with her training in Lymphoedema Therapy to provide patients with  optimal post surgical recovery, progressive exercise programs, manual therapy, control of swelling. 

 

Although she is sole practitioner, Mai believes  it is team work is very important and will communicate with your medical specialists as well as the local and national Lymphoedema networks to ensure you can access the best care available.
